Just in time for Christmas: 'For The Darkness' the new release from Church ov Melkarth is out now on iTunes

Its Christmas: the congregation is gathered and the sermon from The Church ov Melkarth is about to begin once again.

This is Power Noize on par with bands like MZ.412, Grunt or Brighter Death Now merged with the controlled chaos of Krieg, the drone of SunnO))) and the BlackAmbient textures of Lurker Of Chalice.
After 3 years Church ov Melkarth return with a brand new digital release to challenge your perceptions. Church of Melkarth create music in a way many people have never had the opportunity to experience. 'For The Darkness' continues the trend from CoM of no compromise that began with their first release on KillZone Records back in 2005 called 'The Sermon of Hate'. Although these are much shorter pieces they still command the listener to pay full attention, creating strange and unsettling atmospheres that make you feel like something is trying to break through from the other side. Check out the widget below to listen to some of the tracks from the album. The album high point has to be an adaptation of Lovecraft's 'The Terrible Old Man' 16 plus minutes of pulsing, cold drone with maniacal, warped vocals that permeate the sub conscious. Church ov Melkarth is not for those looking an easy time in their listening and is truly a creation that is very unique.
